Privacy Policy

Our privacy promise

DevToolsHub is built privacy-first. Every tool — formatters, encoders, converters, generators, and inspectors — runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript and Web APIs. The text, code, files, and configuration you paste into any tool are never uploaded to our servers and are never transmitted to any third party. We cannot see, store, or recover the content you process.

Information we collect

  • Account data: if you create an account, we store your email address and a hashed password to authenticate you. Pro subscribers' purchase records are linked to their account for entitlement tracking.
  • Saved data: workspaces, templates, favorites, and history you explicitly save are stored on your behalf and are only visible to you (the account owner).
  • Usage analytics: we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are used and how often, so we can improve the product. This is aggregate, non-identifying data.
  • Advertising: free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior interactions. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ads Settings.

Cookies and local storage

We use local storage and cookies to remember your theme preference, editor theme, and to keep you signed in. These are stored on your device and are not shared with third parties except as required for authentication and, on the free plan, ad delivery.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings. If you have questions about your data, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of DevToolsHub after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
